The way out of poverty is a great education.  But more importantly, we, as a nation cannot compete with a subpart workforce that does not have the intelligence, high skilled requires to compete in the world.  The key to reviving the American economy is a strong, intelligent and highly skilled workforce. A great education must provide our youth with the skills, and the opportunity to achieve their highest potential. I believe in entrepreneurship, through our education system, we must teach our kids how to be entrepreneur and provides them with the necessary tools to be the best entrepreneur they can be. We are a nation of innovators and given the chance, we can enhance our system of education that makes us again the best in the world.

        .      Open our schools all year around to make the school hours longer so that kids spend more times in school doing homework and receiving instructions particularly in the areas of math, science and critical thinking.

       .         Investing in higher education in the field of engineering, science, public health and technology that will enable our economy to grow and expand.

       .      We must make higher education affordable to everyone in order to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to go to college, but not just a selected few who can afford to pay for it.

       .      Expanding vocational training in the areas of computer science and technology will create sustainable jobs.

       .      In order to deliver a great education, we need well paid and well trained teachers. I support the development of well-trained and well paid teachers.
